smart game plan. Let Buakaw punch himself out in the first 2 rounds and that combined with his arrogance made him drop his hands in the third.
Have to say, Buakaw's cardio looked below his best
Even though it became obvious Buakaw was pretty gassed, I was so not expecting the K.O.
I don't think it was due to gassing that he dropped his hands. He took a big knee to the liver just before the KO and it looked like he could barely stand because of that. Liver shots can be extremely hurtful if they hit right - people do get KO'ed by them.
Never could I find any evidence but I DO think the fight is fake!
Buakaw simply dropped his hands to give way for Sato's KO.
Where had his formidable roundhouse kicks gone?
Just compare this fight with all his other preceding ones - except the one with Masato last year, it is crystal clear Buakaw didn't fight in his own best way at all.
This FAKE fight is so similar to his fight with Masato last year.
What is even worse is that his defeat can convince nobody!
One lost game - compensated by one large sum of money - may be considered insignificant in Buakaw's record of over 300 wins perhaps.
Let the Japs buy the K1 Max Championship!
Buakaw just looks totally uninterested when he fights anymore. Maybe it's just me, but I think he looks bored in the ring. He needs to get his desire back, or he'll keep losing.
